ABOUT OUR PRODUCTS
Our Enhanced Power Factor Correction is a means to adjust poor power factor conditions in all types of inductive loads. We use an SPD (Surge Protection Device) in tandem with the motor run capacitors. This dual system incorporates ZNR MOV technology to help extend the motor run capacitors serviceability. There has been an ongoing problem using only motor run capacitors to adjust the power factor ratios in inductive loads because self-standing motor run capacitors have a limited life expectancy due to the capacitor's dielectric break down, with normal use. This breakdown occurs from a result of spikes and surges that tear down the dielectric barrier, thus shortening the overall effectiveness of the capacitors ability to positively affect power factor in the end-use inductive loads. Usually in just a few short years, the capacitors will be up to 60-70% ineffective. In other words, using the MOV's in tandem with the motor run capacitors improve the longevity/serviceability and enhances many times over. In return, this gives the customer decades of serviceability and improved power factor.
Placing the device in the closest proximity practical to the end-use equipment (usually on the load side of the energizing contractor or relay) assures optimal power factor application during equipment run times, and thus will not appear as a reactive load during equipment off times. In addition to being combined with inductive loads, the units can be installed on main panels and sub-panels where inductive load requirements are present for over 50% of the time or more. installation can be calculated using power factor tables like those found on or simply taking your own power readings prior to installation.
I2R Factors would influence a particular unit's placement. Since resistance increases as the copper lines lengthen, a larger unit would be used to best adjust for poor power factor. For example: A line that is 100 meters from a metering point would require a larger unit than a line that is less than ½ of that distance.
It is always a good idea to take pre/post measurements to get optimal effectiveness in power factor improvements. Calculating energy savings is important for monitoring the enhanced power factor performance and contributions to customers overall savings.
Our units not only give our customers confidence in being protected against the cost of damages caused by power surges and lightning strikes, but because the equipment run temperatures are reduced, serviceability of electrical equipment is increased by 50- 100%. Therefore, our customers are not forced to replace equipment years before it is necessary. In addition, our customers have reported savings on their monthly electric bills of 10-30% (In rare cases, even more).

Just a quick letter of ref To say that since January of 2018, since installed the special power facor/ Surge Suppressor units, we have saved nearly $8,000 in 2018 after my CPA finished tabulation of last years Electrical savings.
